许诺表示：“北京时间今天早晨，杨瀚森结束了在凯尔特人队的试训，马不停蹄飞赴亚特兰大，按照计划将在今晚参加一场老鹰队的试训。自从杨瀚森进入CBA联赛以来，老鹰队的球探就先后三次派球探到青岛现场观看他的比赛。通过多次交流和观看比赛，老鹰在已经足够了解杨瀚森的情况下，向他发出了试训邀请。在外界看来，缺少中锋的老鹰已经向中国小将表示出了足够的诚意。”
据此前报道，杨瀚森已经试训过开拓者、爵士、太阳、雄鹿、魔术、步行者和篮网。
老鹰拥有第13号和22号签，绿军则拥有28号和32号签。
